at the 2024 Sand Sculpting Championship!

The 34th Annual American Sand Sculpting Championship returned to Fort Myers Beach in spectacular fashion, attracting over 15,000 attendees to celebrate world-class artistry, creativity, and community spirit. Held from November 21-24, 2024, this year’s event drew enthusiastic crowds to experience the awe-inspiring work of 8 Master Sculptors and 10 Advanced Amateur Sculptors from 10 countries, each showcasing their extraordinary talents in sand sculpture.

Taking place across two dynamic locations, the Championship captivated visitors with its vibrant atmosphere and incredible displays. The main event, hosted at the DiamondHead Beach Resort, featured a breathtaking array of sand sculptures, drawing crowds to marvel at the stunning artwork. Attendees also enjoyed a wide range of food and beverage offerings, live entertainment, and Quick Sand demonstrations, turning the resort into an interactive art experience for all ages. For younger visitors, a dedicated sand play area was set up, allowing children to explore their creativity in the sand and have fun building their own masterpieces.

In addition to the main event, Old San Carlos Blvd came alive with live music at Bayside Veterans Park from noon until 7 p.m. daily. This secondary location provided a festive, family-friendly atmosphere where visitors could enjoy great tunes, enjoy back bay views, and soak in the lively spirit of Fort Myers Beach.
